2 new products - Armobreak & Armogan

The Armobreak/Armogan programme is a dormancy breaker in tree crops such as apples, nashis, persimmons, guavas and grapevines just to name a few.

In addition to breaking dormancy the Armobreak/Armogan programme compresses flowering time which results in fruit of the same physiological age. This can result in easier thinning operations and a more uniform crop at harvest. Increased evenness of flowering is particularly noticeable in cherries and Gala apples where there is a marked reduction in difference in flowering time between the upper and lower halves of the tree.

In grapevines it causes earlier budbreak and a more uniform rapid shoot growth straight after dormancy. Armobreak is widely used in Chile on both table and wine grapevines for dormancy breaking and improved harvest quality. A feature of the Armobreak/Armogan programme is that it does not create blind buds on wood and can reopen previously blind buds that have been caused by repeated use of other dormancy breakers.

For more information please have a look at the labels in the "Horticulture" section or contact us via the "Contact Us" page.

Also be on the look out for an Armobreak/Armogan information night at a town near you in early 2005.
